Balsam street will be closed to thru traffic beginning at the top of the hill behind the Elementary School to the intersection of Dale Street, the week of October 30th. Residents living in the area will have access to their homes. Construction crews will be replacing a drainage culvert on the hill behind the school. Travel to the elementary school via Balsam street will be disrupted during project construction Parents transporting students to school are asked to use the alternate route of Education Way.The city of Libby apologized for the inconvenience to local residents and Elementary School parents.
