Established in 1993 by Larry Peak, Peak Sand & Gravel, Inc. (“Peak”) is a leader in the portable rock crushing industry. Peak produces aggregate products for state, county and local road projects, site development, timber operations and others purposes. With crushing operations around the Northwest including Idaho, Washington, and Montana, Peak serves a broad base of customers including state transportation departments, Bonner County, Interstate Concrete and Asphalt, Basin Resources, Central Washington Asphalt, Zanetti Brothers, Central Pre-Mix Concrete Co, Apollo Inc., Knife River Corporation, Inland Asphalt Co and many others. Peak has participated in projects such as the Sandpoint Bypass, the Spokane North/South freeway, the I-90 Revitalization Project and I-90 Mullan to Montana Stateline project among others.
Also, Peak is a premier supplier of sand, gravel and rock products from their six independent pit sources in north Idaho. A state of the art wash plant operates at the Dover location for the production of washed sand and rock products.
Bulk transportation at Peak is handled by a fleet of well-maintained trucks and equipment that include dump trucks, pup trailers, transfer trailers, bottom dumps, side dumps and a lowboy trailer. This diverse group of equipment can meet the dynamic challenges of any project.
