LIBBY VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO Libby Volunteer Ambulance was started in 1970. Our ambulances are staffed by ordinary members of the community. Who volunteer their time to help the sick in injured of Libby and the surrounding area. Members donate at lest 48 hours of on call with additional hours for training and miscellaneous duties. When responding to a 911 call most members are responding from home or leaving their job, depending on day of the week or time of day. All 23 Members are certified at least Certified a EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) with some with Advanced certification. Our service has a vast range of knowledge accumulated over the years. Currently we have members with ranging from just beginning to 43 years of service. ORDINARY PEOPLE DOING EXTRAORDINAY THINGS SINCE 1970!
