BOX 1428 LIBBY, MT 59923 406-293-2731 NOTICE CITY OF LIBBY WATER CUSTOMERS The City of Libby Water Department with help from the Libby Volunteer Fire Department, will be starting their Bi-Annual Fire Hydrant flushing program the week of July 10th, through the 14th, 2023. This added activity in the water mains and water system can stir up turbidity that has settled in the bottom of the pipes. If this occurs, customers are advised to flush out their own plumbing before using the water for internal use. The Water Department maintains enough Chlorine throughout the system to handle any bacterial problems. This hydrant flushing program is expected to take about one week to complete.
