Managhan’s Furniture has been a family-owned business since it was founded by Senia Halttunen as Libby Furniture and Appliance in 1991. The original location was 507 Mineral Avenue in downtown Libby. The business changed hands in 1999 when Halttunen transferred ownership to her daughter Janet Fontaine, who stopped selling appliances and renamed the business Libby Furniture. The current owners, Mark and Amber Managhan, continued the family tradition in 2010 by purchasing the store from Fontaine, Mark’s aunt, and renamed it Managhan’s Furniture. In 2013, the business expanded to include a new 4,000 sq. ft. showroom for bedroom sets and top-quality mattresses. Today, the furniture store includes 14,000 sq. ft. of showroom space at its current location, 403 Mineral Avenue.
