Amber Bear Inn is a great place to Treasure Montana. We encourage our guests to hike, fish, bird-watch, boat, kayak, and view wildlife. We frequently host festivals and concerts performed by local musicians. There is a "middle-of-nowhere" feel to the grounds, but you are electronically connected to the world by extremely fast, free, wifi (video-streaming capability) and satellite TV in every bedroom. Additionally we've added a VOIP device that allows most cellphones to seamlessly access our high-speed internet (this is important as most of the local area is a dead-zone for cellphones).
The Inn is located on a Montana ranch first homesteaded in the early 1900s. The property was purchased in 1997 by one of Montana's oldest families boasting 7 generations living and working in various Montana counties. It is located 4 miles off State Highway 200 and away from noisy railroad tracks. The views of mountains, forest, and meadows are spectacular.
